I have been getting some interest in my Venetian Valentine Bracelet
, some have asked me about doing the design in other color schemes such as black and gold and navy and gold so I will be bringing those ideas to life . If you have interest in this idea, and have color ideas in mind, please let me know. Special orders cost no more than the normal price, I only change the prices if the size is increased or gemstones are added in.

Today I am posting images of my latest work in progress and posting a few links to new work that has been completed and posted on the Sea Cliff Designs Website .
First up, links. I have posted a few new earring designs, Black and Gold Chandleir Style Herringbone stitch earrings, and again in differing color schemes.
Today’s post is mainly to show off what I am working on currently- Dendrite Jasper Pendant and a match cuff that will also have matching earrings. The cuff has 5 mm Tourmalinated Quartz rounds running up the edges with 4 mm Dalmatian Jasper rounds at each end of the cuff. The color scheme is based off the work of Ansel Adams, my very favorite Photographer. I can not get enough of his work in black and white. I feel that the simplistic is very grounding.
I am using Black Delica, as well as a shimmering Black Diamond Delica and creamy White Delica along side black diamond charlotte’s and Black 8/0 beads. The quartz rounds have awesome black needles of Tourmaline running through them and if you have never heard of this gemstone, you can read more about it at the Gem Hut website here.
The necklace will be made with all the same gemstones and beads, the only addition will be 6 mm Quartz rondelles. I will of course post my progress but I expect to have this completed in a few days.
If you are interested in this collection, please use my contact form or email me at seacliffdesigns ( at ) kystorms.com

I am not sure how many times this happens to other bead artists, but I go through it more often than not. I simply can not make the beads go into a design they were not meant to
. These colors look fantastic together, but the first design I did ( see this photo ) just was not working. The delicas were puckering so badly and I normally never have that problem, so I knew it was not a design meant to be. Here is what I finally worked ( I just have three more sections and the clasp to place, the clasp is a bronze Celtic Knot button which I loved when I saw it.

This color combination is simply stunning, and I have been waiting so long to get this worked up. I am not finished but thought to get opinions on how the color combination strikes you ~
Turquoise Ocean Jasper rounds , 4 mm – Black Delica 11/0 and 4 mm Swarovski Sun Bicone

The photo was taken indoors due to rain and clouds, so the Sun Swarovski is not shining the way it normally does, but you can see it here at Artbeads.com - Swarovski 5301 Faceted Bicone Sun
Side note… some of you may have been seeing the discussion about JTV now selling Swarovski Crystal Elements and they have a nice supply, but I did price checking last night and found out they are about 8 cents higher in price than Artbeads AND they charge a shipping charge of 6.99~ I will never shop for my beads, crystals or elements any where else but Artbeads for sure. I just wish they would get a wider selection of gemstone beads in the smaller sizes.

A new piece, Saragossa Gold; has been uploaded to the main website as well as the Etsy shop.
I really love these colors together, and they go great with Summer as well as Fall! Made with 22 kt and wine colored Delica beads, as well as coordinating colors of Copper AB and Amethyst Swarovski Crystals, this bracelet will make you feel like you are experiencing a fine wine each time you wear it.

- Saragossa Gold –
This piece is available, for more information please check out my Etsy Store.
A few more peieces are coming up in the next few days as well, so please check back. I have some cabochons in a tear drop shape that are just calling to me to bezel set, as well as some men in the moon stones for earrings.
Peace ;-0

Custom Choker, matches Moonlight on the Pacific Cuff
This is my first official Choker and I am really pleased with how it turned out. The main stitch is Herringbone with Swarvoski Crystals throughout . There are seed Pearls in White at each and and it is finished with Silver tone clasps with Black Velvet Ribbon for the ties. I choose to use the Velvet ribbon because I felt that chain would bite into the customers neck. She seems really happy with my choice so I will make this an option for all further Chokers.
Another view:

This is the cuff that the choker inspired -

I also have a few new designs almost done which I will post here in a day or so. I am readying my website as well, taking it down as Website Tonight web and instead making it my own construction. I just felt that as a designer I should have a look that speaks to my work and I can not achieve that with a stock programs themes etc.

I came across a really nice looking forum that I wanted to pass along for those who like myself wish to learn more about the gemstones they own – Mason Dixon Rock & Mineral Club.
I am including Gemstone information on the blog because for a few years now I have owned over 200 carats of various types of gemstones and have been muddling along trying to learn all I can about Identification. Not an easy task with out a formal education I can assure you but you CAN learn from helpful forums.
I will be posting some photographs of my stones here today, so keep an eye out for that as well.
I have finished my custom order piece, a choker made to match my Moonlight on the Pacific Cuff. The customer wished for silver to replace the gold as the change as well as replacing the bronze gold pearls with white silver toned.
This piece is one of my most favorite designs because of the significance, I found early on in my work that nature and my life are important influences on what I design. As you can see the Gold Delica beads are a main portion of the piece in the center but I made sure to not over power the design , giving balance with the deep midnight Blue Delica beads and crystals.
The photo below is the finished choker sans the clasps as I am placing a velvet ribbon at the customers request on two toggles of silver.

This work is a made to order piece, if you are interested please IM me here with your design ideas.

I have long loved the play of colors often found in the old arts such as glass making. Venetian glass is always so playful and so warm, so decided to make one of my Valentines Sets in colors similar to those used in Venetian Glass.
This bracelet is 7 and 1/2 long from clasp to clasp and it is a touch over 3/4 inch wide. It is made with Delica 11/0 Beads in the following colors:
Black, Deep Pink, 22 KT Matte Gold
and also included in the work are 8/0 Seed beads in Amber Gold and 11/0 Amber Gold Lined Seed Beads.
There are 4 mm Swarovski Bicone Crystals, as well a 4 mm Hematite Gemstone rounds.
